Includes red mittens, linoleum, witty retorts, angst, love, dance clubs, strange friends, cooking shows, and coffee (not necessarily in that order)!

This is fabulous! Its a well written and intriguing story, that follows Draco through a situation that seems a little too big for him to handle, at least by himself. Its a very hurt/comfort fic, and is delicious. The characterisations are perfect, Draco is still witty, Harry still, well, Harry. It's a very refreshing fic to read. :)

Profanity and briefly described violence. Varying tenses, but with reason. Overwrought descriptive language.
Summary: Months after Draco cast a curse that took Harry’s eyesight, Harry is still trying to come to terms with it. Draco still wanted forgiveness, which was probably the problem.

Oh! This is gorgeous, if not slightly sad. I adored how Harry started actively associating colours with other sensations, storing them away to remember later. That he used them to describe other things was also clever. I loved how the trio was still trio like (Hermione casting spells to help Harry along, making things easier and more efficient, and Ron with the honesty of the world outside the infirmary). I liked that while Harry was in a rather shit place, he was still at peace with the situation. There was no depression or anger, just acceptance. Draco was very, well, Draco like. Not knowing how to ease the situation and making things worse, being frustrated and angry over it. The end was sweet, I like that he gave Harry what no one else had.

:)

The Prophet hasn’t caught on to a few things, such as the fact that Harry is gay. He and Ginny want to keep it that way. It’s not a great life, but it’s his – until one day, an old school rival comes by to investigate his class. Suddenly, Harry’s life is no longer predictable.

Its a very loong fic, but an easy read. I like the family background, and I love how Gin and Harry turned out (with no bitterness! Close friends even!), and were both such loving parents with kids that felt *real*. Kids that misbehaved, even. I liked the idea that there was a school for almost-Squib children, and that Hermione was researching the reasons behind squib-ness. I adored the grown-up Draco, devoid of angst, and now a fabulous furniture maker. This was a lovely read, with discussion and action neatly put together, it was well paced with a nice slow build up, and all the messy ends of canon all tucked away in an elegant way (there was no excuses, nor any 'well this just happened to get our characters here and now you can ignore how not plausible this is'). Truly brilliant.

:)

A very sad fic, but fantastic nonetheless. What I liked most about Luna was just how very spacey she was, but while also being endearing and both these traits carry through in this fic. Luna slowly disengages herself from her reality, and as things get blurry we are slowly shown why. This is a gem, for serious.

Not in an emotional over-done and melodramatic way, but in the form of two adults working for Experimental Charms at the Ministry who are both rational and smart. Well, ish, their plan was based on ducks, after all. :) More people like and less stereotypical like than they were portrayed in the books. Also, they named their killer ducks after Umbridge, this is a super amusing fic that you should SO READ!
